Consignments
Have gear you would like to sell but not enough to need an exhibitor booth?
Bring it with you! Our consignment booth is a great place to sell your gear for cash. This year we're moving to a new "per item" consignment fee. All items will be sold at a flat fee no matter what your price, which means more money in your pocket. You can read all the details in our Consignment Policy below.
If this sounds right for you, scroll down to download the Consignment Agreement PDF below. Fill it out, print it, and bring it with you to expedite the process so we can get to selling your gear while you browse all the booths.
Consignment Policy
We accept drum sets, snare drums, cymbals, and other large items. We cannot accept boxes of hardware, individual small parts, or other items. Parts will be accepted when sold in lots such as pair of hoops or set of lugs that are bagged and tagged with quantity and price, and must be packaged together. Consignment sellers (consignor) must purchase at least one adult admission wristband or be a member of show staff.
The consignment fee is paid upfront on a per item basis as follows, and is non-refundable..
- $25 per drum set up to five pieces. $5 per additional piece for sets larger than 5 pieces.
- $10 per snare, single drum, or cymbal (hi-hat pairs count as one).
- $5 per piece of hardware (pedal, snare, hi-hat, cymbal stands) or part lots.
Each consignor must complete and sign a consignment agreement listing each item delivered to the booth including their selling price. Phone numbers will be included on the tag for any negotiations.
Consignment forms can be filled out online prior to the show using the fillable PDF below to expedite the process or can be filled out and printed in-person upon arrival. All consignment items will be loaded in the main entrance.
All consignment sales must be paid in cash. Consignment staff will notify the consignor when an item is sold. When a settlement is paid to the consignor, this will be noted and signed for on the consignment form.
Any unsold consignment items must be picked up by the owner no later than 4:30pm on Sunday May 18th. Consignor will sign for the release of all unsold items upon pick up. Any items not picked up by the consignor by this time will become property of the Chicago Drum Show.
