Timothy Roberts

Timothy Roberts is a cymbal-smith, drum maker, and inventor of percussion instruments based in North Carolina. He is also a professional studio and live musician with over 15 years of touring and recording experience. His influences center around jazz, funk, afro-cuban, folk-americana, classical, and many other styles. His passion for sound exploration led him to crafting the instruments that he plays and offers through his company, Reverie Enterprises, which he founded in 2015. Timothy Roberts hand-crafted cymbals represents his highest passion; crafting the highest quality cymbals for the discerning drummer.

Timothy’s company consists of a small team of artisans and musicians that craft all of the instruments by hand. Reverie Enterprises consists of four brands that all work in conjunction with each other: Timothy Roberts Cymbals, Reverie Cymbals and Mods, Stack Ring Percussion, and Reverie Drums. The drum designs are heavily influenced by the kinds of cymbals Timothy makes and vice versa. Stack Ring Percussion accessories are crafted to complement both the drums and the cymbals to create unique and complex sounds.
